The Pershore Road Babes First Meeting.
Finally, after many false starts, the two new Pershore Rd. sprogs have met face-to-face. Carl and Arwen brought Kaelan over on Saturday 9th May 1998, before a large number of us went off to a surprise party for an increasingly old friend of ours (Hello, Rob!). Arwen brought their digital camera, and we downloaded these pics before they left. We also met up with Hywel and Hobbit. Never go on holiday without Hobbit, as good weather follows her like a lost puppy.

Immodest, I know, but here is a current photo of me, with a cup of tea. Feel free to comment on the haircut change since the days of Summerfest, and indeed the increase in weight. Just keep such thoughts to yourself. |

Hobbit and Hywel, dedicated "Twinkies" (Two Incomes No Kids). Hobbit is a physicist, an armourer for the SCA, and yet another PhD (along with Hywel and Ian Kirk). Hywel is now a Lecturer in London, and a regular visitor to Switzerland for high energy physics work. |

This is a sight to make Hywel very nervous, a broody Hobbit. I don't think she's really serious about one of her own yet though. Shame, as she makes brilliant stuffed toys for newborns and older babies alike. |

They've finally met. It was probably presumptuous to dress Megan in white and Kaelan in a suit. I have always disliked the idea of arranged marriages, until it was me deciding. Now I'm not so sure they don't make sense. Please note in passing the shocking amount of hair Kaelan possesses, he was born at a full moon, you know. |
